Ths sad news coming in from Las Vegas Sands Corp about the demise of Big Boss, Sheldon G Adelson at the age of 87 due to medical reasons.
"Our founder and visionary leader, Sheldon G. Adelson, passed away last night at the age of 87 from complications related to treatment for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma," a statement from the Las Vegas Sands company said.
He was an American businessman, investor, and political donor. He was the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and the parent company of Venetian Macao Limited, which operates The Venetian Las Vegas and the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
He is survived by his wife, 4 children and 11 grand children.
