CIEO
had taken up the issue with ITPO after CIEO member, Aakar Exhibitions raised
their concern with regard to rescheduling of AAHAR 2022 to the month of
September 2022 citing conflicting of interest of exhibitors/buyers.
ITPO, after arriving on the decision; responded to CIEO secretariat “Council of Indian Exhibition Organisers’ (CIEO) representation to ED, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) with regards to Aahar rescheduling - Conflict interest with our exhibition, ITPO has now rescheduled the Aahar 2022 in the Month of April, 2022. Our show dates are now as April 26-30, 2022.”
The communication further said “ITPO extended its support to the industry and we hope that AAHAR 2022 will be one step forward in bringing new opportunities to all the stakeholders and industry at large will benefit from the economic activities to be conducted during the currency of the show. It will not only help in the boosting the sentiments of the industry but also fuel the growth trajectory”.
Premal Mehta, Managing Director of Akar Exhibitions, elated with the decision said “We acknowledge the diligent effort, put up by CIEO, for raising the concerns of our exhibition dates / postponement clash with Aahar.

have dealt with many associations, never ever we have seen such strong and
timely response from the trade body in safeguarding the interests of a member.”
