India’s gifting,
stationery, home and lifestyle sectors are set to witness a major business
boost as the country’s top B2B trade exhibition for the gifting industry, Corporate Gifts Show is all
set to return alongside Paperworld India and Interior Lifestyle India presented
by Ambiente India
More than 200 exhibitors with
over 400 brands from across the nation will converge under one roof to showcase
their latest collections in corporate gifting and merchandising, office and
school stationery, writing instruments, alongside exciting homeware,
kitchenware and home décor products.
There has been momentous growth in
corporate gifting industry in the recent years with businesses realising its
tremendous value and impact in nurturing B2B, B2C and B2E relations. Honing a
strong gifting culture, the Indian gifting market is projected to grow
from an estimated USD 119 million in 2019 to USD 159
million by 2025. The ticket size of gifting has gone up as well.
“Solutions that enhance work-from-home or
study-from-home efficiency are becoming lucrative channels for the gifting and
stationery sectors to tap. Products such as made-in-India handicrafts, wellness
solutions and fitness gears, quality electronics like headphones and automobile
accessories are emerging as preferred gifting solutions.” shared Mr Gaurav
Choukhany Founder & CEO, Techzo, Intiginis Promotions Pvt Ltd. “Over the last two years, we
expanded our offerings to cover up to 3 million SKUs or products ranging from
consumer electronics, apparels, accessories, footwear, bags and luggage, toys
and stationery, gifting, home and kitchen as well as automobile accessories for
gifting, added Mr Adwait Deshmukh, Project Lead, Seedeer India Pvt Ltd,
a B2B e-commerce website designed to fulfil the needs of businesses across
India.
Personalised gifting on the other hand has
proven to be a highly effective tool in captivating interest and making more
meaningful connections for businesses. Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and
Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd said: “The focus of
corporate gifting strategy for companies should be to deliver a unique and
personal impression rather than just material delivery, as this will
effectively allow them to stand out.”
Elaborating
on the trend of customised merchandising, Mr
Abhishek Parihar, CEO, Scott International said: “The gifting
industry is becoming more consumer-centric. The trend of personalisation is
catching up with online gifting enabling products like – T-shirts, coffee mugs,
photo frames, watches and even perfumes to be curated based on personal choices
at the click of a button. The tech-savvy consumers on the other hand are opting
for smart electronic gadgets as gifting options.”
Even in the domain
of office supplies, the stationery industry has emerged agile and adaptive.
When offices were under lockdown, the industry quickly shifted focus to
work-from-home oriented products to maintain business continuity and tend to
new consumer demands. While home décor has always been a key gifting
segment, the lockdown period and the subsequent change in lifestyle and
spending habits helped expand the demand from home décor to
houseware products and kitchen ware products.
Targeting these
thriving segments, the trio of consumer goods exhibitions – Paperworld
India, Corporate Gifts Show, Interior Lifestyle India presented by Ambiente
India is all set to open its doors this week from 12 – 14 May at the JIO
World Convention Centre (JWCC). in Mumbai. The debut edition
of this trade fair trio will bring in new launches, designer collections and
exciting product showcases in corporate gifting, office and school stationery,
writing instruments, alongside innovative products in homeware, kitchenware and
home décor from over 200
brands under one roof.
