As Thailand’s exhibition industry expands, increasing emphasis is being placed on elevating the quality of international trade visitor participation, recognising that qualified buyers are a critical driver of trade creation, investment flows, and measurable business outcomes in B2B exhibitions.

To advance this agenda, the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has launched the Visitor Power Up initiative to systematically strengthen the participation of qualified international trade buyers at selected exhibitions in Thailand. The programme works through industry associations, chambers of commerce, federations, and non-profit organisations to mobilise structured buyer delegations, with a strategic focus on the ASEAN+6 markets, which play a central role in regional supply chains and cross-border trade integration.

A key pillar of the initiative is structured networking and business matching, ensuring that buyer participation leads to more relevant connections with exhibitors and stronger commercial outcomes. This approach moves beyond increasing attendance, focusing instead on improving the quality and effectiveness of interactions across the exhibition ecosystem.

The programme supports international B2B exhibitions across key industries, including food and hospitality, health technology, electronics, machinery, and construction. Participating events are selected based on established criteria relating to exhibition scale, international participation, and venue quality standards.

Eligible organisations can receive financial support of up to THB 100,000 per exhibition, subject to programme criteria, including 10–50 qualified buyers and a minimum of 30 business matching appointments per show.

Applications are now open for eligible exhibitions taking place between 10 August and 30 September 2026. Industry associations and partner organisations are invited to join Visitor Power Up and bring more qualified international buyers to Thailand.
