United Parks & Resorts Inc. today
announced an expanded strategic focus on the India travel market through a new
partnership with Rayna Tours, establishing dedicated in-market representation
designed to strengthen relationships with the Indian travel trade and
accelerate awareness and visitation to the company’s portfolio of theme parks.
The collaboration marks an important step
in United Parks & Resorts’ international growth strategy, with India
identified as a market offering significant long-term opportunity. Through
Rayna Tours’ established presence and travel trade network in India, United
Parks & Resorts will expand its engagement with tour operators, travel
agents, distribution partners, media and other key stakeholders across the
market.
“India represents an exciting opportunity
for United Parks & Resorts as we continue to grow our international
business and introduce new audiences to everything our parks have to offer,”
said Rob Mister, United Parks & Resorts Senior Vice President, Global Sales.
“This partnership allows us to build stronger relationships within the
market, better support our travel trade partners and create a long-term
strategy specifically designed around the needs and interests of Indian
travelers.”
As part of the partnership, Rayna Tours
will support United Parks & Resorts with dedicated India market
representation, business development, reseller and travel trade engagement,
agent education and training, market intelligence, public relations and media
outreach, and distribution support.
The partnership will also include increased
engagement with the Indian travel industry through trade shows, roadshows,
training opportunities and other market activations designed to strengthen
product knowledge and create new commercial opportunities.
“India is one of the fastest-growing
outbound travel markets in the world, and Indian travelers are increasingly
seeking premium, experience-led destinations,” said Senthil Velan, CEO, Rayna
Tours. “Rayna Tours’ 20-plus years of travel trade relationships and our B2B
network of more than 10,000 agents and tour operators across India and GCC give
United Parks & Resorts a trusted, established channel into these markets.
We are excited to introduce more Indian travelers to the SeaWorld, Busch
Gardens, Discovery Cove and Aquatica brands, and to build a long-term strategy
around what Indian travelers are looking for.”
United Parks & Resorts offers
experiences for a wide range of travelers, from record-breaking attractions and
immersive entertainment to up-close animal experiences, seasonal events and
family-friendly destinations. Its Florida portfolio includes SeaWorld Orlando,
Discovery Cove, Aquatica Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, providing Indian
travelers visiting Florida with experiences spanning multiple destinations and
vacation styles.
Beyond its attractions, United Parks &
Resorts has a longstanding commitment to animal care, rescue, conservation and
education. Through its parks and dedicated teams, the company works to inspire
guests to learn more about and help protect animals and the natural world.
The India initiative will roll out through
a phased approach, beginning with travel trade engagement, training,
distribution development and increased market awareness, followed by additional
sales, marketing and public relations initiatives.
